XM381 Experimental

Detroit Arsenal - Center Line, Michigan

On May 24th, 1955 the "Characteristics Sheet" for a new cargo truck was approved at the Detroit Arsenal. Based on a gasoline powered REO M35 that was shortened with a bed that had been cut down. The XM381 did not go into production, but it’s never too late!
